  • Long working hours: Working 9 months or more per year adds 15 points; 6 – 9 months adds 10 points; 3 – 6 months adds 5 points.
  • Good Chinese – language proficiency: Foreigners who once held Chinese nationality, have obtained a bachelor’s degree or above with Chinese as the teaching language, or have passed the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) Level 5 or above, can add 5 points.
  • Age advantage: Age between 26 – 45 adds 15 points; 18 – 25 or 46 – 55 adds 10 points; 56 – 60 adds 5 points.
  • Special experiences or qualifications: Graduating from a top – level university abroad, having work experience in a Fortune Global 500 company, possessing patents and other intellectual properties, or having continuously worked in China for 5 years or more, can add 5 points.
  • Locally – encouraged bonus points: For talents in short supply who meet the local economic and social development needs, the specific standards are set by the provincial foreigner – work – management departments, with a maximum of 10 points.
