Guangdong Investment Promotion Platform launched

On August 2, the “promotion conference for the establishment of Guangdong’s orderly industrial transfer and investment attraction platform” was held in Dongyuan County, Heyuan City (located in the northeast of the Greater Bay Area).
During the conference, the Guangdong Investment Promotion Platform (‘Invest Guangdong’) was officially launched. The platform serves as an important portal providing an investment and business guide for both domestic and foreign traders.
Since its trial operation in April this year, access to the platform has expanded from the “Yueshangtong” (APP) to PC, WeChat Mini Program, and Alipay Mini Program.
The platform provides innovative services for investment professionals and business investors through digital techniques. Users can view three-dimensional images of industrial parks and land plots online, report offline events, and make a live broadcast.
As of August 1, ‘Invest Guangdong’ is available in all 21 cities, more than 150 county-level cities and districts, and functional zones in Guangdong. The platform has released over 5000 investment opportunities, and has already received more than 300 investment intentions.
Recently, Dongguan Liming Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. sought suitable land for hotel construction. After using the ‘Invest Guangdong’ platform to search for land resources, the company successfully got in touch with the Zhanjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone. Both sides have visited the local area in Zhanjiang, and now they have planned further negotiations to facilitate the project.
In the future, ‘Invest Guangdong’ will provide more detailed investment information at all levels across the province. With a focus on promoting the platform domestically and overseas, the platform will promote Guangdong’s coordinated regional development by digital means.
