Foreign Chinese can apply for permanent residency in China through the following methods:
1、 Investment category
Application requirements:
-Direct investment in China, stable investment situation for three consecutive years, and good tax record.
-The registered capital actually paid for investment meets the following requirements:
-In the “Catalogue of Industries for Guiding Foreign Investment” issued by the state, the total investment in encouraged industries is over 500000 US dollars.
-The total investment in western China and key counties for national poverty alleviation and development work is over 500000 US dollars.
-Investing a total of over 1 million US dollars in the central region of China.
-Investing a total of over 2 million US dollars in China.
2、 Employment category
Application requirements:
-Having held positions such as Deputy General Manager or Deputy Factory Manager in China, or holding deputy senior professional titles such as Associate Professor or Associate Researcher, and enjoying equal treatment, and having served continuously for four years, with a cumulative residence in China of no less than three years within the four years and a good tax record.
-Having a doctoral degree or graduating from an internationally renowned university, working in China for at least three years, with a cumulative actual residence of no less than one year, and having good tax and credit records.
3、 Family clustering
1. Reunion of husband and wife:
Application requirements:
-Marry a Chinese citizen (with Chinese permanent residence registered residence) or a foreigner who has obtained permanent residence qualification in China.
-The marriage has been in existence for at least five years.
-Have resided continuously in China for at least five years and stay in China for no less than nine months per year.
-Having stable living security and a place to live.
2. Parent child reunion:
Application requirements:
-Under-18 years old and unmarried.
-Both parents or one of them is a Chinese citizen or a foreigner with permanent residence qualification in China.
4、 Special Contribution Category
Application requirements:
-Has made significant and outstanding contributions to China and meets the special needs of the country.
