Which foreigners do not need more than two years of work experience to apply for work permits?

The following types of foreigners may not need more than two years of work experience to apply for work permits:

1. Foreign high-end talents (Class A):
-Foreigners who meet internationally recognized standards for professional achievement recognition, such as winning important international awards, holding important positions in internationally renowned academic institutions or enterprises, are generally not restricted by work experience and can easily obtain a Chinese work visa.
-Foreigners who have been selected into the domestic talent introduction plan, such as various national or local high-level talent introduction projects, are intended to attract global talents, and the requirements for the work experience of the candidates may be relaxed or not strict.

2. Fresh graduates from specific universities:
-Foreign graduates who have obtained a master’s degree or above from a well-known overseas university and have graduated within one year, or foreign students who have obtained a master’s degree or above from a university in China and have graduated within one year, can apply for a work permit for foreigners to work in China if they meet other relevant conditions, such as being 18 years old, healthy, without criminal record, excellent academic performance, having a definite employer and engaged in a job corresponding to their major, and do not need two years of work experience.

3. Language educators in specific industries:
-Foreign language teaching personnel should, in principle, engage in teaching the mother tongue of their native country, obtain a bachelor’s degree or above from a university, and have more than 2 years of language education work experience. However, those who have obtained a bachelor’s degree or above in education, language, or teacher education, or have obtained a teacher qualification certificate in their country or a qualified international language teaching certificate (such as TEFL, TESOL, TESL, CELTA, etc.), may be exempt from the work experience requirement.

4. Foreigners who start businesses in China:
-Establish a foreign-funded company in China as a legal person, and employ its own foreigners, namely self-employed personnel. Applying for a Chinese work visa through this method generally does not require any education or work experience from the applicant.
