Foreigners who leave the city without leaving the city usually need to go through the following visa related procedures:
Work permit cancellation
-Submit the application: log in to the “Service System for Foreigners Working in China”, use the enterprise account to obtain the cancellation application form for foreigners working in China, fill in and print it, and affix the official seal of the employer.
-Preparation materials: In addition to the application form, it is also necessary to prepare documents such as proof of resignation or proof of termination of relationship.
-Review and cancellation: enter the cancellation information into the system, submit official letters and foreigners’ related materials, and obtain the cancellation certificate of foreigners’ work permit in China after being reviewed and approved by the Bureau of Foreign Experts Affairs or relevant departments.
Cancellation of Residence Permit
The original work residence permit shall be cancelled within 10 days after leaving the company. The original company shall assist foreigners to go to the local exit and entry administration department to go through the cancellation formalities. After the work residence permit is cancelled, foreigners will usually automatically obtain a 30 day stay visa.
